LIVE CAMERA NETWORK
China Live Street Cameras
Watch 16 live cameras across China — free on the WorldEye globe.
Camera index last updated October 20, 2026.
WorldEye's live index holds 16 cameras in China — public feeds from transport agencies, weather networks, resorts, harbours and city operators, all watchable free in the grid below and on the globe. The largest clusters are in Hong Kong, Qingdao, Sai Kung, Sanzao, with cameras spread across 13 named areas in total.
Every card below is the camera's actual live feed, grouped by area with the largest first. Search the whole country, filter by area, and open any camera to watch it in full. The index is rebuilt from the same catalogue that powers the WorldEye globe, so the count on this page is the count the globe serves.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

The China camera network in detail
The 16 cameras in the China index come from 6 public sources — OpenCCTV / windy (8 feeds), OpenCCTV / windy-providers (2 feeds), SkylineWebcams (2 feeds), OpenCCTV / phenocam (2 feeds) and 2 other public sources. 1 feed is a live video stream; the other 14 feeds are still-image feeds, publishing a fresh frame on the operator's own schedule so the view steps forward rather than playing continuously. WorldEye does not operate or re-broadcast these cameras: every card in the grid plays the operator's own published feed, and a camera that goes off air shows as unavailable instead of looping old footage.
The mix leans on city views and landmarks (4 cameras) and coast, beaches and harbours (1 camera) — Peak Tower, Hong Kong and Po Toi Islands: Waglan Island (North-northwest) are typical of each. On the ground they span roughly 4,725 km corner to corner, from around 铁列克乡 تېرەك يېزىسى / تەرەك ايىلى in the north to Taipa in the south. By camera count, China ranks 47 of 109 countries in the index — a mid-sized national network.

What people watch in China
Watch the city go by
Peak Tower, Hong Kong and 3 other city cameras hold still over China's streets and landmarks. These are the feeds people leave open — for a sense of a place before a trip, or just to look in on it in real time.
See the coast and the weather on it
Po Toi Islands: Waglan Island (North-northwest) faces the water in China. People open them to check the surf, the light and how busy a beach or harbour is before heading down — a live look beats a forecast for all three.
See today's weather for yourself
A forecast tells you what should happen; China's cameras show what is happening — light, cloud and conditions in Hong Kong and the other areas above right now. It is the fastest sanity check before travelling, photographing or planning anything outdoors.
Compare areas side by side
With cameras across 13 named areas — Hong Kong, Qingdao, Sai Kung — the grid lets you put two parts of China on screen at once and compare conditions directly, instead of trusting a single national forecast.
Keep exploring on the globe
From any camera you can jump to the same spot on the live map and keep moving. The rest of Asia holds another 17,572 cameras in the index, so a thin national network is a doorway, not a dead end.
