Grand Canyon National Park Webcams — Live
4 live cameras within 25 km of Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim — Bright Angel Trailhead View and the park's own weather. Free, no signup.
Four cameras, and every one of them belongs to the National Park Service — the purest wall in this directory. From Grand Canyon Village the wall takes in the Bright Angel Trailhead, where hikers drop below the rim; the view from Kolb Studio, the 1904 photographic studio pinned to the canyon’s edge; and the South Entrance Station on the road in.
The canyon is 446 km long, and this wall makes no claim on most of it: the North Rim, a thousand feet higher and closed by snow half the year, contributes no catalogue cameras, and neither does the western canyon. What is here is the South Rim’s living room — the trailhead, the studio view, and the entrance queue — live.
Best time to watch Grand Canyon
The canyon is a light instrument: early morning rakes shadows across the Bright Angel corridor, and the Kolb Studio view deepens in colour for an hour before sunset. Midday washes the layers flat — the wall is at its best near the day’s edges, whose times are computed for the rim below.
Sun times are computed for the park's coordinates (36.06, -112.11) in its local timezone — astronomy, not a forecast. Pair them with the live weather above before you plan around them.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

How to use the Grand Canyon wall
- 1Start with the named cameras: the highlights at the top of this page are the wall's anchor viewpoints — open them first for the park itself.
- 2Read the weather like a ranger: the live conditions panel and the cameras together beat any forecast — if the gateway is clear and the viewpoint is in cloud, believe the cameras.
- 3Use the sun times: sunrise and sunset at the park are computed on this page for today. The famous views are edge-of-day views; plan the open around them.
- 4Check the approach, not just the destination: entrance and corridor cameras in the wall show the road you will drive, an hour before you drive it.
