About Cannon Mountain
Cannon Mountain Ski Area is a state-owned ski resort within Franconia Notch State Park, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Ten lifts serve 265 acres of skiing, and its aerial tram is the only one in New Hampshire.
Cannon's vertical drop of 2,180 feet is the largest of any ski area in New Hampshire and the seventh largest in New England. Olympic skier Bode Miller grew up skiing here — the mountain's north-northeast exposure keeps its snow cold and its character old-school.
