Haeundae is the most famous beach in South Korea: a 1.5 km arc of sand in Busan's east, backed by the towers of Marine City and the hills of Dalmaji. In summer it is one of the most crowded beaches in Asia; in the cooler months it belongs to walkers, the coastal path, and the surfers who use its beach breaks when a passing swell or a typhoon out in the East Sea pushes waves into the bay.
The wall's density is a Busan story. South Korea runs one of the densest municipal camera networks in the catalogue, and Haeundae district is covered end to end — the beach, the coastal roads, the estuary and the restaurant streets behind the sand are all on public feeds.
The wall — every camera, nearest first
The rule for this page is the rule for the whole family: every catalogue camera within 12 km of Haeundae’s centre (35.1631, 129.1636), ordered nearest first. Known for: Busan's great city beach — a wide, south-facing arc under the high-rises at the end of the subway line.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.
What this wall actually shows
A feed in the wall is named for the beach itself — Haeundae Beach, Busan — alongside coastal-road cameras on the Haeundae and Gwangalli side (18 of the wall's cameras name a beach, coast or shore in their title).
The rest of the wall is the district around the sand: the estuary by the district office, Dalmaji hill's restaurant road, and the approaches from the city.

How to check Haeundae before you go
- 1Start with the closest cameras in the wall above — the feeds nearest the centre are the ones that read the break's weather best.
- 2Read the sky and the surface, not a forecast: cloud cover, light, wind texture where a feed faces open ground or water, and how busy the town looks.
- 3Check the timestamp on any feed before trusting it — a paused camera and a calm morning can look alike.
- 4For swell height, period and a real surf forecast, use a dedicated surf report — WorldEye doesn't publish one. The camera is the visual half of the check; the report is the numbers half.
