San Clemente Surf Webcams
24 live cameras within 12 km of San Clemente — see the break live before you go. Free, no signup.
San Clemente is the surf town at Orange County's south end: a pier with beach breaks either side, the trails down the bluffs at T-Street and Riviera, and — a short drive south — Lower Trestles, one of the most famous performance waves on earth. Interstate 5 runs the whole length of it, on the bluff directly above the beach.
That geography is the wall: Caltrans cameras on I-5 through San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, in places a few hundred metres from the water. Freeway feeds, honestly labelled — but of all the corridor walls in this family, this is the one whose cameras sit closest to the surf.
The wall — every camera, nearest first
The rule for this page is the rule for the whole family: every catalogue camera within 12 km of San Clemente’s centre (33.4274, -117.6120), ordered nearest first. Known for: The Spanish Village by the Sea — pier beach breaks in town, and Trestles just south at San Onofre.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.
What this wall actually shows
The nearest feeds are I-5 at Presidio Drive, El Camino Real and Avenida Palizada — the freeway exits for the pier and the beach neighbourhoods.
No beach-named feed exists in the wall; the cameras' value is proximity — the same bluff, the same sky, the same wind you can see bending the palms along the freeway.

How to check San Clemente before you go
- 1Start with the closest cameras in the wall above — the feeds nearest the centre are the ones that read the break's weather best.
- 2Read the sky and the surface, not a forecast: cloud cover, light, wind texture where a feed faces open ground or water, and how busy the town looks.
- 3Check the timestamp on any feed before trusting it — a paused camera and a calm morning can look alike.
- 4For swell height, period and a real surf forecast, use a dedicated surf report — WorldEye doesn't publish one. The camera is the visual half of the check; the report is the numbers half.
