US Traffic Cameras, State by State
34,687 live traffic cameras across the United States β every state DOT and 511 network the directory serves, in one explorer. The biggest systems are Georgia (4,282), Utah (2,084), Houston (1,159) β and every feed is free to watch, no account, no signup.
The US traffic index, live
Every US traffic camera as its real feed, grouped by the area the catalogue lists it under. Search a highway, a junction or a city β the camera is the condition report.
Loading live camerasβ¦Fetching the live index for US traffic.
Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

Enter a start and a destination and the finder lines up the live cameras within 1.5 km of the driving route, in the order you will pass them.

Enter a starting address and a destination β every live camera within 1.5 km of the road, in the order you pass them.
Place search Β© OpenStreetMap contributors; routing is the same directions service the live map uses. Cameras are the public feeds in the WorldEye index β a camera shows here only when it has a feed the preview can actually play.
State traffic pages
Editorial guides for the biggest state networks β how each system works, where its cameras concentrate, and how to read them.
US traffic camera FAQs
What counts as a US traffic camera here?
Any camera in the US records whose name identifies a road view, or whose publisher is a road authority β the state DOTs, 511 services, tollway and turnpike systems. That is the same rule the explorer above serves, so the count at the top of this page is the number of feeds you can actually open here.
Which state has the most traffic cameras?
Georgia, by a wide margin β its 511 network is the densest single-state system in the index, concentrated on metro Atlanta's interstates. Utah is second, with a network built for canyon and mountain-pass conditions.
My state has no page β can I still watch its cameras?
Yes. The state pages are editorial guides for the biggest networks; the explorer above covers every US traffic camera in the catalogue regardless of state. Search by city or highway name, or open the globe and zoom to your state.
Can I check cameras along a specific drive?
That is what the route finder on this page is for: enter a start and a destination and it lines up the live cameras within 1.5 km of the route, in driving order. What the cameras show is the road condition β congestion, weather, closures β as it is now.
See the road before you drive it.
