Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park Webcams — Live
9 live cameras within 30 km of Kīlauea’s summit caldera — Holei Pali FAA cameras and the park's own weather. Free, no signup.
This wall is honest about its geometry: it is centred on Kīlauea’s summit, but the cameras it holds stand down the mountain — four FAA cameras at Holei Pali, on the Chain of Craters Road inside the park where the lava fields meet the sea cliffs, and research phenocams in the wet forest above. Nine cameras in all, and none of them is a crater-rim lava cam.
For the crater itself, WorldEye’s volcano wall follows Kīlauea with the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory’s published views — that page is linked below, and it is the right seat during an eruption episode. This page is the park around the volcano: the coast road, the pali, the rainforest weather that decides what the summit is doing.
Best time to watch Hawaiʻi Volcanoes
Holei Pali reads the park’s two climates at once — summit vog and cloud above, the dry lava coast below. During eruption episodes the summit action is on the volcano wall; this wall shows the park receiving it: gas drift, coast weather, and the Chain of Craters Road in real time.
Sun times are computed for the park's coordinates (19.41, -155.28) in its local timezone — astronomy, not a forecast. Pair them with the live weather above before you plan around them.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

How to use the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes wall
- 1Start with the named cameras: the highlights at the top of this page are the wall's anchor viewpoints — open them first for the park itself.
- 2Read the weather like a ranger: the live conditions panel and the cameras together beat any forecast — if the gateway is clear and the viewpoint is in cloud, believe the cameras.
- 3Use the sun times: sunrise and sunset at the park are computed on this page for today. The famous views are edge-of-day views; plan the open around them.
- 4Check the approach, not just the destination: entrance and corridor cameras in the wall show the road you will drive, an hour before you drive it.
