About Saddleback
Saddleback Maine spreads over the northwestern slopes of Saddleback Mountain near Rangeley. Sold to the Arctaris Impact Fund, it reopened on December 15, 2020 after five years closed — one of American skiing's notable revivals.
Every trail is named after a famous Rangeley fishing fly — Supervisor, Peachy's Peril, Royal Tiger — and the lifts carry river names: the Rangeley, the South Branch, the Magalloway. Down East Magazine named it Maine's best ski resort for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
