About Ylläs
Ylläs — Yllästunturi — is a 719-metre fell in the municipality of Kolari in Finnish Lapland, and the highest fell in Finland with ski lifts. It is Lapland's second-largest ski resort after Levi.
Two villages serve it: Äkäslompolo on the north side and Ylläsjärvi in the south, connected by an 11 km road around the fell. The area counts 61 ski slopes, 29 lifts and 330 km of cross-country tracks, 38 km of them lit.
