LIVE CAMERA NETWORK
Crater Lake National Park Webcams — Live
5 live cameras within 25 km of the caldera rim — Crater Lake and the park's own weather. Free, no signup.
The wall is small and exactly aimed: a park-service camera on the lake itself — that impossible blue, when the Oregon Cascades let you see it — the Steel Information Center at Rim Village, and the Annie Spring Entrance Station on the road up, with two state highway cameras on OR-138 completing the approach picture.
Crater Lake’s weather is the park’s gatekeeper: the rim sits above 2,100 metres, takes over ten metres of snow in a normal year, and can be fogged in while the valleys below are clear. These five cameras — lake, village, entrance, highway — are the standard check before anyone drives up, and the page keeps them in that order.
Best time to watch Crater Lake
The lake is clearest in the morning before Cascade cloud builds, and the Annie Spring camera is the honest broker: if it shows falling snow in June — which happens — believe it and not the valley forecast. Winter’s long storms are a spectacle on the rim cam between whiteouts.
Sun times are computed for the park's coordinates (42.94, -122.11) in its local timezone — astronomy, not a forecast. Pair them with the live weather above before you plan around them.

Every catalogue camera within 25 km of the caldera rim, nearest first — the wall this page's count comes from. Search by viewpoint, road or settlement, and open any camera here or on the globe.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

How to use the Crater Lake wall
- 1Start with the named cameras: the highlights at the top of this page are the wall's anchor viewpoints — open them first for the park itself.
- 2Read the weather like a ranger: the live conditions panel and the cameras together beat any forecast — if the gateway is clear and the viewpoint is in cloud, believe the cameras.
- 3Use the sun times: sunrise and sunset at the park are computed on this page for today. The famous views are edge-of-day views; plan the open around them.
- 4Check the approach, not just the destination: entrance and corridor cameras in the wall show the road you will drive, an hour before you drive it.
