Olympic National Park Webcams — Live
4 live cameras within 25 km of Hurricane Ridge — Hurricane Ridge and the park's own weather. Free, no signup.
Olympic is three parks in one — alpine ridge, rainforest, wild coast — spread around a roadless interior, and its wall is honestly just the first of them: the National Park Service’s Hurricane Ridge camera, at 1,600 metres above Port Angeles, with the town’s US-101 and airport cameras below it as the approach.
The rainforest valleys (Hoh, Quinault) and the coast (Rialto, Kalaloch) contribute no catalogue cameras, and the page will not borrow Port Angeles street views and call them rainforest. What stands here is the ridge — the park’s most visited viewpoint, with the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Bailey Range in one frame — and its gateway.
Best time to watch Olympic
Hurricane Ridge is named for its weather; the camera is the check before the 27-km climb from Port Angeles, and the pair of them — town clear, ridge in a gale, or the famous inversion with the ridge above a sea of cloud — is the wall’s whole argument. Winter weekends, the ridge road opens only when the plows win; the camera shows the score.
Sun times are computed for the park's coordinates (47.97, -123.50) in its local timezone — astronomy, not a forecast. Pair them with the live weather above before you plan around them.

Every card is the camera's real live feed: snapshot cards refresh about every 15 seconds, stream cards play live in the grid (a few at a time, the same budget the map tiles use) and in full when you open a camera. Feeds are provided by their operators and public sources; a camera whose stream has gone off air shows as unavailable rather than playing a recording.

How to use the Olympic wall
- 1Start with the named cameras: the highlights at the top of this page are the wall's anchor viewpoints — open them first for the park itself.
- 2Read the weather like a ranger: the live conditions panel and the cameras together beat any forecast — if the gateway is clear and the viewpoint is in cloud, believe the cameras.
- 3Use the sun times: sunrise and sunset at the park are computed on this page for today. The famous views are edge-of-day views; plan the open around them.
- 4Check the approach, not just the destination: entrance and corridor cameras in the wall show the road you will drive, an hour before you drive it.
